Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed you with a nutritious dinner. Breakfast and lunch are included onsite Friday and Saturday.
The onsite New Mexican themed restaurant, House of Better, is inspired by holistic nutritionist and chef Trevor Logan.
Calistoga is also home to incredible restaurants, wineries, and natural wonders.

We'll be staying at Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort and Mineral Springs in the beautiful Napa Valley. Experience the healing mineral springs and the lush green of springtime and the rolling beauty of the Napa Valley.
For the past year, I've had the pleasure of teaching nutrition classes at Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort and Mineral Springs, and this oasis is filled with magic. The waters are healing, the staff is amazing, the onsite restaurant has my official nutritionist seal of approval, and Calistoga is truly the gem of the Napa Valley.
Founded in 1952 by Dr. Wilkinson, a doc ahead of his time, this boutique hotel recently got a facelift, and it's now officially one of my happiest places on earth! Calistoga has stolen my heart, and I can't wait to share it with you!
The vision for this retreat is to come together in person and create an experience of learning and deepening our connection to our healing journey in practice with one another.
This retreat will distill some of the core teachings from my work into a condensed form, giving you new tools and inspiration to live your healthiest life through all the stages of your life.
We depend on the health and vitality of the earth's ecosystem, and our own inner ecosystem. It's our right to learn to nourish ourselves with the earth and our own circadian rhythms in mind.
We'll connect to living in rhythm when it comes to how and when we nourish ourselves, to support optimal aging and brain health, lowering inflammation, and feeling in partnership with our body.
This is exactly what Vitality Live is about.

Day 1 - Connect - Get oriented, meet your community and explore what
the weekend has to offer. Set your intentions and enjoy our delicous spread and opening circle.
Day 2 & 3 - Experience & Explore - Now that you've set your intentions - tap into where and how you want to change, as well as the steps you can take to address inflammation, support the gut brain connection, boost your immunity, and create an inner ecosystem for change.
We'll explore what it means to initiate transformation with the elemental science of Ayurveda, and new habits that can allow the body to come back into balance.
Day 4 - Expand - While we bring our weekend experience to a close,
we'll celebrate mermaid style, and discuss how to implement the insights and strategies you’ve gained
Logistics
The retreat includes a welcome dinner the first evening, as well as breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday.
Accommodations, airfare and spa treatments are not included.
Once you register, you’ll receive information on how to book your room and what to do if you’d like to share a room at the resort.

Mary Sheila Gonnella has dedicated her life to helping people reclaim their health. As a board certified holistic nutritionist, educator, and Ayurvedic educator, she provides the information, insight, empowerment, and support you need to take charge of your health and live the life you were meant to live.
As a lead up to her deep dive into all things nutrition, Mary Sheila developed a deep passion for basketry, wildcrafting, seaweed harvesting, farming, fermenting, and herbalism. She credits these practices to supporting her on her own healing journey, and deepening her connection to the earth. She loves to share health concepts through the holistic lens of earth medicine, supporting others to tap into their own vitality.
She creates a uniquely supportive experience for her clients and students. Her passion makes nutrition concepts come to life, leading her clients to consistently successful outcomes.
Mary Sheila has a way of teaching that is positive and not fear based. Her message is that food and lifestyle changes that can reverse health conditions don’t have to be extreme. Mary Sheila’s approach is informative as well as fun - as all learning should be.
